Why don’t we…mix prints?

Life’s to short to be timid. Try mixing different prints. You never know what you may find uncover. While cheetah and plaid seem rather opposite, sometimes opposites attract. My advice for mixing prints, look at the size of the pattern. If you want to pair polka dots with a stripe make sure the polka dot is proportional bigger or smaller than the stripe.

For example, these J Crew pants would pair nicely against this thin striped Forever 21 shirt. The reason they work well is the color story blends nicely and the proportions make sense. The polka dot print is larger than the thin striped shirt. Try it out, this will be a great way to revamp your wardrobe without spending a lot.
